Our Pillars Universal Health Care & Public Health

Pillar 6 of 13

🏥

Universal Health Care & Public Health

Healthcare is a fundamental human right. This pillar focuses on implementing a universal healthcare system, addressing social determinants of health, and ensuring inclusive healthcare delivery for all, regardless of background or circumstance.

Key Principles

Health Care as a Human Right

Implement a single-payer, universal healthcare system covering all residents. Convert for-profit insurers and medical providers to non-profit status or dissolve them. Provide free, lifelong immunizations for all citizens.

Address Social Determinants of Health

Offer universal dental, vision, and mental health coverage. Expand community health centers in underserved areas. Ensure safe, nutritious school meals for all children with free breakfast and lunch.

Inclusive Health Care Delivery

Ensure healthcare is accessible and culturally competent for LGBTQIA+, disabled, non-English speaking, and Indigenous populations.
