#H1 **STAND UP FOR THE VOTE!**
Over the past year and a half many of you have protested **AGAINST** many actions taken by the current authoritarian regime. You have participated in large events like Hands Off and No Kings and many more have held weekly vigils, visibility events and banner drops. The actions we have protested against are almost too many to list — you know what they are!
While it is important for us to continue to raise our voices against the ongoing attacks on our democracy, we have an opportunity coming up to **DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT by VOTING!**
The most powerful weapon we have is at the ballot box. Now is the time to for us to Vote and urge our friends, family, neighbors and strangers to vote too. No Kings 4 is about standing up FOR our democracy through our right to vote!
Join us on October 17th as we encourage people to make a voting plan; **VOTE EARLY and IN PERSON **if possible; use a drop box if voting by mail; and prepare to act on any roadblocks put in our way!
So join us. We will be congregating in two areas along Connecticut Ave; at East West Highway and at Shepherd Street. Bring your friends and families. Bring your signs about voting and our democracy. Wear your red, white and blue, and wave your flag proudly. We will have tables with information at each location with voting information, including voter protection, extra signs, and noisemakers. And bring your kids. We will have stickers, bubbles and more! And include your friends and neighbors.
