Let’s all come together at the Ashland Downtown Plaza to inspire our community to show up and vote.
We will also be standing together to reject the idea that power belongs to one man, to billionaires, or to politicians who believe they are above the law.
This protest is the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, Vote Early, is not purely a protest. It’s also about inspiring everyone to take the opportunity to make their voice heard.
We the People decide who represents us 🙌
Let’s all show up for making that choice because no one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do. On Saturday, October 17th at 10am, here in Ashland and at hundreds of local events across the country we’ll say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings (and no ballrooms, triumphal arches, golden statues, etc.)
We the People decide who represents us 🙌.
*No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.*
*A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
