Please join us for our local standout and rally. You know the drill: we need safety marshals, first amendment spaces, safe marching routes, planning meetings, permits, speakers, music. We’ve already done this and you and your friends know what to do. This time we’re demanding impeachment, conviction, and removal. Will it be difficult? Yes. Will we have to ask multiple times? Probably. Will it require all of us marching in the streets and then to the polls? Absolutely. Should we give up because it’s hard? Never.
We’re not asking you to start at the finish line. We are asking you to start this journey with us. Two more years is too many. Americans are dying. Democracy is eroding. We will demand a vote on impeachment from our reps, and a promise to impeach from our candidates. And conviction. And removal. This year, impeachment is on THE BALLOT!
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
